Scott Sernett lives in Cedar Falls with his wife Meg and their two children Taylor and Benjamin. Scott and his family are actively involved with their church St. Stephens and enjoy spending time at athletic events for the University of Northern Iowa. Scott is also a member of the UNI Panther Scholarship Club.

Scott enjoys golf, running, reading, traveling, and family time.
